ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR STORM SEWER PIPE
Kelsey Drive Installation
WHEREAS, The Public Works Superintendent requested approval to purchase 2,000
feet of pipe to rectify a storm sewer problem on Kelsey Drive; and
WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee has recommended approval of the purchase
of materials not to exceed 2,000 feet of pipe with installation to take place in 2008; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed a quote of $14.75 per foot for the
pipe submitted by Cretex Concrete Products Midwest, Inc. and recommends approval
of the purchase for a total cost of $29,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept
the quote submitted by Cretex Concrete Products Midwest, Inc. for 2,000 feet of storm
sewer pipe at a cost of $14.75 per foot for a total expenditure of $29,500 with delivery
of the material to the municipal garage.
