COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #042-2007
ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR BRUSH CHIPPER
FOR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, The City's 2007 Capital Expenditure Fund included $38,000 for the
purchase of a brush chipper; and
WHEREAS, The City received the following quotes for the purchase:
Vermeer of Michigan, Inc.
Vermeer-Minnesota
Vermeer-Wisconsin, Inc.
$33,290.00
$30,950.00
$30,360.00
WHEREAS, The Director of Public Works has recommended acceptance of the quote
submitted by Vermeer-Wisconsin, Inc. in the amount of $30,360, which includes $4,500
for a trade in; and
WHEREAS, The Public Works Committee and Finance Committee have reviewed the
quotes and concur with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept
the quote submitted by Vermeer-Wisconsin, Inc. in the amount of $30,360 for the
purchase of a wood chipper.
