COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #038-2007
RESOLUTION TO CREATE
CITY ENGINEER INTERVIEW COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 2.09(4) of the City of Muskego Municipal Code the
Mayor may appoint special committees as he may deem advisable, and
WHEREAS, The City officials will be undertaking the process of interviewing applicants
for the City Engineer/Director of Public Works Projects position and it is the Mayor's
desire to create and appoint members to the City Engineer Interview Committee; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval to the Common
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby determine
that the City Engineer Interview Committee shall be a special committee of the Mayor
pursuant to Section 2.09(4) of the Municipal Code, and the following members shall be
appointed to the Committee:
· Mayor John Johnson
· Alderman Neil Borgman
· Alderman Chris Buckmaster
· Alderman Eileen Madden
· A volunteer who is an experienced Civil Engineer, P.E.
· City Administrator Jennifer Sheiffer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Committee will interview applicants for the
position and recommend a final candidate to the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Committee will automatically be dissolved upon
the hiring of an individual to fill the vacant position of City Engineer/Director of Public
Works Projects.
