PCR2008046 ./PCR2008046_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 037-2008 Print 89 6 pt 6 pt 0   RESOLUTION #P.C. 046-2008 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL FOR A REZONING FROM I-1 GOVERNMENT AND INSTITUTIONAL TO HC-1 HISTORIC CROSSROADS AND A 2010 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT FROM GOVERNMENT AND INSTITUTIONAL TO COMMERCIAL LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 2 (TAX KEY NO. 2167.998 / S68 W14891 JANESVILLE ROAD).   WHEREAS, On April 2, 2008 a petition for a rezoning and a 2010 Plan Map Amendment was submitted by Lynn Kurer to change the zoning from I-1 Government and Institutional to HC-1 Historic Crossroads and to change the 2010 Map designation from Government and Institutional to commercial uses for future development for a property located on Janesville Road (Tax Key No. 2167.998), and   WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the amendment has been scheduled before the Common Council on May 13, 2008, and WHEREAS, The property is currently zoned I-1 Government and Institutional due to the existing church uses of the property, and   WHEREAS, An immediate future use is not represented by the petitioner, however, the petitioner indicated at the public hearing that a future use would be some type of mixed-use development (business, office use with loft apartments) and the church structure will remain, and   WHEREAS, The proposed rezoning requires a change in the 2010 Map to commercial uses to remain consistent.    WHEREAS, Wetlands have been delineated and concurred by the WDNR and the DNR during a previous land division.   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for a 2010 Comprehensive Plan amendment for the property located in the SW ¼ of Section 2 on Janesville Road (Tax Key No. 2167.998) per the following:   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a future BSO would require Plan Commission approval and noise and headlight issues will be addressed if need be.   Plan Commission City of Muskego Adopted:     June 3, 2008 Defeated:   Deferred:     Introduced:  June 3, 2008 ATTEST: Kellie Renk, Recording Secretary
