COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #187-2006
RESOLUTION TO CALL SPECIAL ELECTION
FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR
WHEREAS, On August 28, 2006, a petition for the recall of City of Muskego Mayor
Charles Damaske was filed with City Clerk-Treasurer Janice Moyer by Muskego
Mayoral Recall Group (MMRG); and
WHEREAS, On September 28,2006, the City of Muskego Clerk-Treasurer filed a
Certificate of Sufficiency; and
WHEREAS, Said petition was transmitted to the governing body as required by Wis.
State Statutes; and
WHEREAS, Wis. State Statute 9.10 (4)(d) states that the governing body shall call a
recall election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby call a special election for the Office of Mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the recall election will be held on Tuesday,
November 7, 2006 in compliance with Wisconsin State Statutes.
