COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #185-2006
DETERMINATION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
TO WAIVE CITYWIDE MAILING OF
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
WHEREAS, The Plan Department has proposed comprehensive changes to the City of
Muskego Zoning Code (Chapter 17), which will require that a public hearing be held;
and
WHEREAS, The City's current zoning code [Section 3.07(1)] requires a citywide mailing
regarding the proposed changes and public hearing unless the Common Council
determines that such mailed notice is not required because "the change is of such
comprehensive nature that such notice would involve excessive administrative effort
and expense and is not necessary for reasonable notification of affected property
owners."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby waive the citywide mailing of public hearing notices for the
proposed changes to the City of Muskego Zoning Code (Chapter 17).
