PCR2008027 ./PCR2008027_files/filelist.xml RESOLUTION #PC 027-2008 Print 90 AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 027-2008  APPROVAL OF A BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN AMENDMENT FOR SAFEWAY PEST MANAGEMENT LOCATED IN THE SW ¼ OF SECTION 16 (S83 W18622 SATURN DRIVE / TAX KEY NO. 2223.005)   WHEREAS, On January 31, 2008 a submittal was received from Safeway Pest Management located in the at S83 W18622 Saturn Drive (Tax Key No. 2223.005), and   WHEREAS, The proposal is to add a 4,032 square foot accessory structure for the addition of a cold-storage structure for oversized automobiles and storage, and   WHEREAS, The structure proposed mimics the architecture and colors found on the existing structures on the site and Plan Commission has traditionally allowed new structures to have decreased architectural elements when they are keeping the site consistent, and   WHEREAS, The current site is well maintained and consists of one main structure along with parking facilities and a small existing storage shed, and   WHEREAS, The proposal would also add a new asphalt drive stemming from the existing parking lot to the new structure, and.   WHEREAS, Two site plans are shown in the submitted supplement as the petitioner wanted to show that he is open to options on adding impervious surfaces as he wanted to avoid stormwater management requirements if possible, and    WHEREAS, The site is serviced by public water and sewer, and WHEREAS, The proposal follows the industrial uses found in the 2010 Plan and the M-2 zoning.   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a Building, Site and Operation Plan submitted by Safeway Pest Management for the addition of a cold-storage structure located at S83 W18622 Saturn Drive (Tax Key No. 2223.005).   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That stormwater management is only required when over 20,000 square feet of impervious surfaces are added to a site.  Thus, either site plan will be feasible without the need for stormwater management.    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That no outdoor storage is allowed on the site as all storage must be housed inside existing buildings or the adequate application of screening devices must be sought thru the Planning Department.   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspects of this plan as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.                                                   Plan Commission                                                 City of Muskego   Adopted:  March 4, 2008 Denied: Deferred:     Introduced: March 4, 2008   ATTEST:  Kellie Renk, Recording Secretary
