RESOLUTION #095-2006
AWARD OF BID
McShane Drive Water Main
WHEREAS, The City advertisled for bids for the McShane' Drive Water Main project and
the following bids were received:

C. W. Purpero, Inc.
Mann Bros., Inc.
Musson Brothers, Inc.
Underground Pipeline, Inc.
Super Excavators, Inc.

WHEREAS, The apparent low bidder, C. W. Purpero, had a mathematical error on the
bid resulting in a new total of $364,812.50; and
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee has reviewed the bids and recommend that
the bid submittecl by United Sewer & Water, Inc. in the amount of $356,317 be
accepted for the McShane Drive Water Main project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby
accept the bid of United Sewer & Water, Inc. in the amount of $356,317 for the
McShane Drive \Nater Main project subject to the following:
1. Adoption of the final assessment resolution by the Common Council for the
connection of the Lake Lore Water Trust System to the City System; and
2. Execution of the agreement to purchase the Lake Lore Water Trust from the
Water Trust in a form satisfactory to the City; and
3. The City obtaining an easement from owners of Tudor Oaks satisfactory to the
City necessary for the water system.
BE IT FURTHEH RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
BE IT FURTHEH RESOLVED That the Mayor or his desi!~nee are authorized to sign
any changes at his discretion upon recommendation of the Engineering/Building
Inspection Director.
