COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #045-2006
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
NICHOLAS J. BROWN
WHEREAS, NICHOLAS J. BROWN, resident of the City of Muskego and a senior at
Muskego High School, earned the Eagle Scout Award as a member of Boy Scout
Troop 599; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to the
Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, NICK began participating in scouting activities in 1996 as a Cub Scout
and went on to earn 36 Merit Badges and Awards as a Boy Scout; he has served his
fellow scouts and the community in a variety of leadership positions; and
WHEREAS, NICK'S Eagle Scout project consisted of making needed improvements
to an area in Whitnall Park including rebuilding the fire bowl at Ross Lodge and
redesigning and building all new seating around the fire bowl. NICK also improved
one of the recreational walking trails by installing some drainage pipe and building a
bridge over it because the trail was always covered with water; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his scouting achievements, NICK also enjoys fishing,
hunting, canoeing and camping; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of NICHOLAS BROWN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend NICHOLAS J. BROWN for achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting's
highest honor.
