RESOLUTION #037-2006
APPROVAL OF LIONS PARK
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PURCHASE
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Department received the following quotes for
playground equipment to be installed at Lions Park:
Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground
Lee Recreation
$21,848
$22,328
WHEREAS, The new structure will replace the existing equipment, which is not ADA
compliant; and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Board has approved the purchase of
playground equipment for Lions Park from Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground in the
amount of $21,848; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the quote submitted by
Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground in the amount of $21 ,848 and has recommended
approval; and
WHEREAS, The purchase will be paid for out of Park Dedication Account
#202.08.94.74.6581.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase of playground equipment to be installed at Lions Park from
Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground in the amount of $21 ,848.
