RESOLUTION #013-2006
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGL.E SCOUT
KYLE LEWANDOWSKI
WHEREAS, KYLE LEWANDOWSKI, resident of the City of Muskego and a senior at
Catholic Memorial High School, earned the Eagle Scout Award as a member of Boy
Scout Troop 141; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to the
Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, KYLE has participated in scouting activities since 1995 earning 36 merit
badges during that time and serving his fellow scouts and the community in a variety of
leadership positions; and
WHEREAS, KYLE'S Eagle Scout project consisted of constructing and installing six
wooden benchl~s around a fire pit at a group campsite in the Kettle Moraine State Forest
(Southern Unit). There was an old structure made of railroad ties that first had to be
removed. To pay for the lumber, hardware and rental of equipment, KYLE organized a
cook-out where the scouts earned $260; and
. WHEREAS, In addition to his scouting achievements, KYLE is also a member of the
high school band, Student Council, National Honor Society and Peer Mentor Program;
and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of KYLE LEWANDOWSKI.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend KYLE LEWANDOWSKI for achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting's
highest honor.
