PROCEEDINGS BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
TO DISCONTINUE AND VACATE
A ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE
CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN (Crest Drive)
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin, as
follows:
That since the public interest requires it, the whole of the following described real estate
in the City of Muskego, Wisconsin, be and is hereby discontinued and vacated as a
street, to wit:
All that part of Crest Avenue being a right of way 40 feet in width, located in Jewel Crest
Subdivision, being part Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, Town 5 North, Range
20 East, in the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as
follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Northerly right of way line of Pearl Drive, and the
Westerly right of way line of Crest Avenue, said point also being the Southeast corner of Lot 1
Block 5 in said Jewel Crest Subdivision, said point also being the point of beginning; thence N
230 E along said Westerly right of way line 527 feet more or less to the Southerly right of way
line of Emerald Street, said point also being the Northeast corner of Lot 8 Block 5 of said
Subdivision; thence S 590 E, 40 feet more or less, to the Easterly right of way line of said Crest
Avenue, said point also being the Northwest corner of Lot 8, Block 6, of said Subdivision;
thence S 230 E along said Easterly right of way line 523 feet more or less, to the Northerly right
of way line of Pearl Drive, said point also being the Southwest corner of Parcel 2 Certified
Survey Map No. 8512; thence N 650 W, 40 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
Containing 21,021 sq.ft.(0.48 acres) more or less. Bearings reference Jewel Crest Subdivision
Plat.
That the street discontinued and vacated by this Resolution is designated in red on a
map hereto annexed, made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A.n
