COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #222-2005
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF
CALLWARE UC SYSTEM FROM
COMPUTER TELEPHONY, INC.
WHEREAS, Voicemail is an important tool used by staff in the service of the
community; and
WHEREAS, The City's voicemail system is five years old and was expected to be
replaced after five years; and
WHEREAS, The City's existing voicemail system is outdated in terms of hardware and
software, utilizing an operating system that is no longer supported by Microsoft and
client software that is no longer supported by Callware; and
WHEREAS, The City has experienced problems with messages automatically being
deleted without the user being able to listen to them; and
WHEREAS, The City received 8 quotes from 5 different companies for a voicemail
system replacement ranging in cost from $12,130 - $38,894.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the purchase and installation of the Callware UC system from Computer Telephony Inc.
for an amount not to exceed $12,130.
