COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #189-2005
HONORING MUSKEGO AFS-USA STUDENT
KATHY TORRICO RIBERA
WHEREAS, For many years local citizens have given generously of their
time and efforts to maintain the American Field Service Program (AFS) in
Muskego; and
WHEREAS, It is the aim of the AFS Program to promote understanding,
friendship, and knowledge between the people of the world by arranging an
interchange of students between the United States and other countries; and
WHEREAS, This year Muskego is privileged to have as one of its AFS
students, KATHY TORRICO RIBERA from Santa Cruz, Bolivia; and
WHEREAS, KATHY TORRICO RIBERA exemplifies the purpose of the AFS
program in Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby honor KATHY TORRICO RIBERA as one of
Muskego's 2005 - 2006 AFS students and extends to her an invitation to
return to our City again.
