COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO RESOLUTION #138-2005 Resolution of Intent to Create Two Sewer Utility Districts WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Sewer Utility has experienced increases in the capital charges received from the MilwaukeE! Metropolitan Sewer District (MMSD) that have and will continue to create a substantial increase in the quarterly sewer charges for residents of the City of Muskego; and WHEREAS, Through investigating other options for collection of these capital charges, the Public Utilities Committee has discussed the creation of two Sewer Utility Districts, pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 66.0827; and WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee is recommending the creation of two Sewer Utility Districts. The Districts will be titled the MMSD Sewer Utility District (Exhibit A) and the Norway Sewer Utility District (Exhibit B). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego directs City staff to schedule two public hearings to be hE!ld on ,2005, beginning at PM, and provide the proper public notice pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 66.0703(7)(a).
