COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #130-2005
AUTHORIZE CONSTRUCTION OF A RETAIL CONVENIENCIE CENTER
IN THE REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.2 PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Plan for the Redevelopment District NO.2 Project Area (the
"Redevelopment Plan") was duly approved and adopted by the Community Development
Authority (the "CDA") on the 12th day of March, 2003, and by the Common Council on the 10th
day of June, 2003 and amended by the Community Development Authority (the "CDA") on the
ih day of March, 2005, and by the Common Council on the 8th day of March, 2005; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council approved a resolution prohibiting new construction in the
Redevelopment District NO.2 Project Area unless first approved by the Common Council on the
10th day of June, 2003; and
WHEREAS, Mike Michalski has applied for a construction permit (Permit #PIRJ05-00388) for the
construction of a Retail Convenience Center to be Ilocated in the NE X of Section 10 (Tax Key
Nos. 2198.990.001 and 2198.985.062), which is within the Redevelopment District NO.2 Project
Area; and
WHEREAS, The Community Development Authority recommended approval of the Retail
Convenience Center on May 2, 2005 finding consistency with the Redevelopment Plan #2; and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission recommended approval of the Retail Convenience Center
on May 17, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby determine that the construction of a Retail Convenience Center located in the NE X of
Section 10 (Tax Key Nos. 2198.990.001 and 2198.985.062) is consistent with the
Redevelopment Plan and does hereby authorize the! construction of said facility.
