RESOLUTION #124-2005
MARY B. MCGURK
RECOGNITION OF 25 YEARS OF SERVICE
MUSKEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Whereas, On July 7, 1980, Mary began her career with the City of Muskego Police
Department, serving as Telecommunicator on the 11 :OOPM - 7:00AM shift; and
Whereas, On October 21, 1980, Mary received a Letter of Commendation for her
diligent actions that led to the recovery of stolen items, clearing a bur~~lary, and resulted
in the felony arrests of two adults; and
Whereas, In April of 1986, Mary was assigned to the 7:00AM to 3:00PM shift and has
worked that shift for the past 19 years; and
Whereas, Because of her expertise as Telecommunicator, Mary was responsible for
training new Telecommunicators; and
Whereas, Mary handles her duties professionally, efficiently, and calmly handles
emergency calls; and
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of Muskego does
hereby recognize and appreciate the 25 years of dedicated service provided by
Telecommunicator Mary McGurk to the citizens of the City of Muskego.
