COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #040-2005
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
TIMOTHY W. SURPRENANT
WHEREAS, TIMOTHY SURPRENANT, resident of the City of Muskego and a senior at
Muskego High School, earned the Eagle Scout Award on August 21,2004 as a member
of Boy Scouts of America Troop 18; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to the
Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, TIMOTHY participated in scouting activities since 1994 and earned
numerous merit badges and awards during that time and served his fellow scouts and
the community in a variety of leadership positions; and
WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, TIMOTHY supervised 20 scouts to help create
living environments for the Gallercella beetle. The beetles were released in wetlands
around Muskego and helped fight the invasive plant species, Purple Loosestrife; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his scouting achievements, TIMOTHY has excelled
academically and has participated in numerous school and community activities; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of TIMOTHY SURPRENANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend TIMOTHY W. SURPRENANT for achieving the rank of
Eagle Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting's
highest honor.
