COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #034-2005
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE
FUTURE CITY TEAM FROM
ST. LEONARD SCHOOL
WHEREAS, The Eighth Grade Future City Team from St. Leonard School earned
First Place Honors in the regional National Engineers Week Future City Competition;
and
WHEREAS. As a result of their regional victory, the team will travel to Washington D.C.
and participate in the national competition; and
WHEREAS, The team began working on this after school project last fall to prepare for
the event; and
WHEREAS, The success of the Eighth Grade Future City Team is the result of hours of
commitment and dedication on the part of all the students involved as well as the adult
leaders and parents who advised and supported them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego is proud to acknowledge the accomplishments of the Future City Team of St.
Leonard School and extends the community's best wishes as the team continues to
participate in this competition.
