RESOLUTION #019-2005
AWARD OF BID
Woods Road Relief Force Main and
Sewage Pump Station Upgrade (Contract B)
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Woods Road Relief Force Main and
Pump Station Upgrade (Contract B) and the following bids were received:
Willkomm Excavating & Grading
Faust Company, Inc.
$268,215
$432,505
WHEREAS, The low bidder, Willkomm Excavating & Grading, requested that the bid
submitted be withdrawn because of omissions.
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee and Engineering/Building Inspection
Director have reviewed the bids and recommend that the bid submitted by the Faust
Company in the amount of $432,505 for the Woods Road Relief Force Main and Pump
Station Upgrade Project (Contract B) be accepted subject to approval of the DNR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby
accept the bid of the Faust Company in the amount of $432,505 for the Woods Road
Relief Force Main and Pump Station Upgrade Project (Contract B) subject to DNR
approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further
authorized to sign any changes at their discretion upon recommendation of the
Engineering/Building Inspection Director.
