COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #160-2004
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO PERSONNEL CODE FOR
MANAGEMENT AND OTHER NON REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
(Payment in lieu of Health Insurance coverage)
WHEREAS, Resolution #309-92 was adopted on December 17, 1992 to establish a
payment to employees who qualify and elect not to participate in the City's health
insurance program; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee, based upon the settlement agreement for the
represented Police personnel, has recommended that the nonrepresented employees
who qualify and elect to waive health insurance coverage shall be compensated as
follows effective January 1, 2004
If eligible for:
Family and take nothing
Limited Family and take nothing
Single and take nothing
Family and take single
Limited Family and take single
$350 per month
$255 per month
$120 per month
$230 per month
$137 per month
; and
WHEREAS, Article XVII - (Insurance) of the Personnel Code for Management and
Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City of Muskego will have to be amended to
add language to provide for the payment in lieu of health insurance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby amend
the Personnel Code for Management and Other Nonrepresented Employees of the City
of Muskeg() to reflect the payment in lieu of health insurance coverage as stated above.
