Well No.9 - Big Muskego Estates
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Well NO.9 - Big Muskego Estates
Project and the following base bids were received:
Municipal Well & Pump
Sam's Well Drilling
Water Well Solutions
Layne Northwest
$ 84,990.00
$114,060.00
$ 86,887.00
$ 64,390.00
WHEREAS, The Public Utilities Committee and City Engineers have reviewed the bids
and recommend that the low bid submitted by Layne Northwest in the amount of
$64,390.00 for the Well NO.9 - Big Muskego Estates Project be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee, does hereby
accept the low bid of Layne Northwest in the amount of $64,390.00 for the Well NO.9-
Big Muskego Estates Project subject to approval of the DNR and PSC and approval
and execution of the Conveyance of Rights in Land, Amendment No.1 to the Well
Site Agreement and Amendment No.1 to Homes by Towne of Big Muskego
Estates LLC - City of Muskego-Big Muskego Estates Subdivider's Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor or his designee are authorized to sign
any change orders at his discretion upon recommendation of the Engineering/Building
Inspection Director.
