COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #210-2003
RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH DOG LICENSE FEES
WHEREAS, Chapter 13.01 (4) of the Municipal Code of the City of Muskego provides that
local dog license fees may be established by Resolution of the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, Waukesha County is implementing a surcharge of $2.00 on all dog licenses
effective with the issuance of the 2004 licenses. to fund the Countywide Humane Officer
Program; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended that the fees for the licensing of
dogs in the City of Muskego be increased by $4 to cover the cost of this program and to
increase the amount retained by the City for the administrative cost of issuing dog
licenses; and
WHEREAS, The fees are established as follows:
Neutered or Spayed Dog
Intact Male or Female Dog
$10.00
$15.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby establish the
license fees for dogs as listed above to become effective with the issuance of the 2004
licenses.
