COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #184.2003
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO
PERFORM THE DUTIES OTHERWISE PERFORMED BY THE PLAN COMMISSION
PURSUANT TO 66.1105 WISCONSIN STATUTES
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego adopted By-Laws and Rules
of Procedure for the Community Development Authority of the City of Muskego,
Wisconsin on March 26, 2002 and as amended; and
WHEREAS, Said By-Laws and Rules of Procedure for the Community Development
Authority require that certain specific actions taken require the review and approval of
the Common Council and one such condition includes the performance of duties
otherwise performed by the Plan Commission pursuant to 66.1105 of Wisconsin
Statutes pertaining to Tax Increment Financing; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council adopted Tax Increment District 8 on August 15, 2000
and as reconsidered and amended on September 15, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Tax Increment District 8 does not encompass all of the lands located within
Redevelopment District #2 Project Plan.
WHEREAS, It is anticipated that the Redevelopment District #2 Project Plan, as
adopted on June 10,2003 may require the use ofTax Increment Financing; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby authorize the CDA to perform duties otherwise performed by the
Plan Commission pursuant to 66.1105 Wisconsin Statutes in regard to Tax Increment
District 8.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby authorize the CDA to perform duties otherwise performed by the Plan
Commission pursuant to 66.1105 Wisconsin Statutes in regard to the preparation of a
Tax Increment District in regard to Redevelopment District #2.
