RESOLUTION #078-2003
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEGO EAGLE SCOUT
BENJAMIN SCHICK
WHEREAS, BENJAMIN SCHICK, resident of the City of Muskego and a freshman at
Catholic Memorial High School, earned the Eagle Scout Award as a member of Boy
Scouts of America Troop 18; and
WHEREAS, This achievement is the result of years of service and dedication to the
Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, during BENJAMIN'S participation in scouting, he earned many awards and
merit badges and continues to serve his fellow scouts and the community in a variety of
leadership positions; and
WHEREAS, BENJAMIN spent many hours on his Eagle Scout service project in which
over 100 worn American flags were collected and retired in a ceremony in conjunction
with American Legion Post 356 on Memorial Day weekend; and
WHEREAS, In addition to scouting, BENJAMIN enjoys various extracurricular activities
including swimming, skiing and SCUBA diving; and
,~ WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of BENJAMIN SCHICK.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby. commend BENJAMIN SCHICK for achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting's highest
honor. .
