COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #065.2003
APPROVAL OF CONTINUATION OF POLICE LIAISON OFFICER PROGRAM
WHEREAS, A 66.0301 Cooperative Contract between the City of Muskego and the
Muskego-Norway School District to Share the Services of Police Liaison Officers for the
2002-2003 year was approved by the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, The Contract calls for both parties to indicate their interest to continue the
contract beyond June 30, 2003 by informing the other party and the City has received
notification from the Muskego-Norway School District that it is their intent to continue to
participate in the program; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended continued participation in the
program and has recommended approval of the 2003-2004 contract with changes as
proposed by Police Chief Johnson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee does hereby approve
the continuation of the Police Liaison Officer Program beyond the June 30, 2003 date
subject to updated figures for salary and benefits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Police Chief are authorized to sign
the Contract subject to approval of the Plan of Payments by the Mayor and School
Superintendent.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor may make any necessary technical
changes to the Contract.
