COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #064-2003
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY TO PROCEED WITH THE
ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $2,000,000
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LEASE REVENUE BONDS
WHEREAS the Community Development Authority of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin
(the "Authority") is in need of an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the public purpose of
financing a blight elimination program in a designated redevelopment area in the City of
Muskego, Wisconsin (the "City"), consisting of project costs and improvements listed in the
Project Plan for Tax Incremental District No.9 of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, Wisconsin, that:
1. This Common Council hereby authorizes the Authority to proceed with the issuance
of Community Development Lease Revenue Bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 (the
"Bonds") for the purpose set forth above. The final details and terms of the Bonds and related
documents shall be subject to approval at a subsequent meeting of this Common Council.
2. This Common Council hereby authorizes and directs that the Bonds be offered for
sale pursuant to negotiations with potential underwriters. At a subsequent meeting, the
Authority shall consider such proposals for the Bonds as may have been received and take
action thereon.
3. The Executive Director/Secretary of the Authority shall cause an Official Statement
concerning this issue to be prepared by the financial advisor for the Authority and the City,
Ehlers & Associates, Inc. The appropriate Authority officials shall determine when the Official
Statement is final for purposes of Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 15c2-12 and shall
certify said Statement, such certification to constitute full authorization of such Statement under
this Resolution.
