RESOLUTION #230-2002
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DAVID J. SANDERS
WHEREAS, DAVID J. SANDERS has served as Alderman of the Sixth District since
1989; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure in office, in addition to serving as a member of the Common
Council, ALDERMAN SANDERS also served on the Public Utilities Committee from
1989 to 2002 and, as its chairman since 1992; and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN SANDERS also served on the Finance Committee (1992-2002),
the Public Safety Committee (1992-1995), the Public Welfare Committee (1990-1992), and
the Rules, Laws & Ordinance committee as its Chairman (1995-1996); and
WHEREAS, ALDERMAN SANDERS was Council Liaison to the Community Festival
Committee, a Representative of the Future Parkland Standing Committee and the
Snowmobile Ordinance Review Committee and served on Landfill Negotiating Committees;
and
WHEREAS, The Common Council wishes to acknowledge that ALDERMAN SANDERS was
their representative to Urban Forestry, Plan Commission and Library Board, and that he
served with diligence and dedication as Alderman to the people of the Sixth District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby acknowledge DAVID J. SANDERS' years of service to his community and
wishes to express the appreciation of the citizens of Muskego for such service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution with the seal of the City of
Muskego affixed shall be presented to DAVID J. SANDERS, and this resolution shall
become a part of the proceedings of the Common Council of the City of Muskego.
