RESOLUTION #171-2002
CONTINUATION OF COMPENSATION FOR PERSONNEL
CALLED TO ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY OF THE RESERVE
WHEREAS, An employee of the City is on active military duty of The Reserve; and
WHEREAS, Through the adoption of Resolution #204-2001 on October 23, 2001, the
Common Council determined that the municipality would make up the differential
between total City compensation and total military compensation for a period of time
ending September 30,2002; and
WHEREAS, Whereas, this employee is still on active military duty and it is anticipated
that he will continue to be on active duty past September 30, 2002; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the situation and has recommended
that compensation to the employee as previously determined will continue while the
employee is on active military duty through September 30, 2003; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee will review this situation in September of 2003 if
the employee is still on active duty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby determine
compensation for a period of time ending September 30, 2003 for this particular case
while the employee is on active military duty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That each future case will be reviewed by the City on an
individual basis.
