RESOLUTION #166-2002
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SPECIAL QUARTERLY CHARGES FOR
GARBAGE AND REFUSE DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING SERVICE
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has a contract with BFI for garbage and refuse
disposal and recycling services, and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended that Metro Landfill fees be
used to support the Recycling Fund, and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee reviewed the existing rates and information
submitted by the Finance Director and recommended approval of the 2003 rates as
listed below, and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee recommended the method of billing be changed
from billing in advance annually to billing quarterly after the service is provided, with the
amount to be placed on the quarterly sewer and/or water bills where applicable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby establish the following charges per quarter for garbage and
refuse disposal and recycling service effective January 1. 2003:

Six (6) Units and Over $70.00/unit $ 17.50 /unit
