CCR2002153COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #153-2002 RESOLUTION CLARIFYING THE LAND MANAGEMENT DUTIES OF THE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD AND CONSERVATION COMMISSION WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has established a Park and Recreation Board to govern, manage, control, improve and care for all municipally owned public parks, and public recreational property and to secure the quiet, orderly and suitable use and enjoyment thereof by the people; also to adopt rules and regulations to promote those purposes, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has established a Conservation Commission to manage the City's Conservation Plan by making recommendations to the Common Council for protecting the community's natural resources, preserving its rural character and open space, and improving its overall quality of life while respecting the rights of individual property owners within the community, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego possesses a significant amount of public lands for active recreation and passive conservation uses, and the Common Council desires to clarify which lands are subject to management by the Park and Recreation Board and 0 which lands are subject to management by the Conservation Commission.
