HONORING CITY OF MUSKEG0 EAGLE SCOUT
PATRICK M. MURPHY
WHEREAS, PATRICK M. MURPHY, resident of the City of Muskego and a senior at
Muskego High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout on October 20, 2001 as a
member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 19; and
WHEREAS, This achievement came about as a result of years of service and dedication
to the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, PATRICK received several awards and participated in various activities
while involved in the scouting program; and
WHEREAS, PATRICK has served his fellow scouts and the community in various
leadership positions, including Quartermaster, Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Assistant
Patrol Leader and Instructor: and
WHEREAS, PATRICK spent many hours on his Eagle Scout project coordinating the
restoration of the City Hall gazebo, which included replacing old lumber, re-roofing and
painting; and
WHEREAS, In addition to scouting, PATRICK also participates in various extracurricular
activities including sports, band, student council and is a certified life guard, and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of PATRICK MURPHY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend PATRICK M. MURPHY for achieving the rank of Eagle
Scout and acknowledges and applauds his efforts required to reach scouting’s highest
honor
