RESOLUTION #83-2002
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO DAVID L. DE ANGELIS
WHEREAS, DAVID L. DE ANGELIS has served in many capacities for the benefit of the City of
Muskego since 1990; and
WHEREAS, DAVID L. DE ANGELIS served as a citizen member of the Comprehensive Plan
Study Committee from 1990-1992 and the Plan Commission from 1992-1993; and
WHEREAS, In 1993 DAVID L. DE ANGELIS was elected to the office of Mayor of the City of
Muskego, and was re-elected to additional three-year terms in 1996 and 1999, the office that he
has served with dedication until today; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his direct service to the citizens of Muskego. DAVID L. DE ANGELIS,
as Mayor of the City of Muskego, has served as Chairman of the Waukesha County
Cooperation Council; Chairman of the Waukesha County Municipal Executives; member of the
Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation Steering
Committee-Waukesha County Vision 2000 and Beyond; member of the State of Wisconsin
Wetlands Task Force; member of the TIF Working Group; member of the Board of Directors of
the League of Wisconsin Municipalities; and member of the Board of Directors of the League’s
Insurance Trust Group; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council wishes to acknowledge the diligence and dedication with
which DAVID L. DE ANGELIS represented the people of the City of Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby acknowledge DAVID L. DE ANGELIS’ years of service to his community and wishes to
express the appreciation of the citizens of Muskego for such service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution with the seal of the City of Muskego
affixed shall be presented to DAVID L. DE ANGELIS, and this resolution shall become a part of
the proceedings of the Common Council of the City of Muskego.
