CCR2002079COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #79-2002 AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF THE LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PUBLIC WORKS AND UTILITIES DEPARTMENTS AND THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 JANUARY I, 2002 - DECEMBER 31,2003 WHEREAS, A settlement has been reached between the negotiators for the City of Muskego and the negotiators for the employees of the Public Works and Utilities Departments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Negotiating Committee, does hereby approve the settlement agreement, as attached, between the employees of the Public Works and Utilities Departments and the City of Muskego for the period January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003 subject to ratification by the employees. ARTICLE VI11 - Renamed to CALL IN TlMElSPECIAL PAY Section 8.02 - Delete last sentence that reads, ‘If the beeper carrier is called in. he will only receive the overtime”. Add New Section 8.03 -Confined Space Entry Team members in Public Utilities will receive $360.00 annually and all other team members shall receive $180.00 to be dispersed with the last pay check of the year. In order to receive payment, team members must be part of the Confined Space Entry Rescue Team for a minimum of six (6) months during the preceding year. 1. ARTICLE X - OVERTlMElCOMPENSATORY TIME Section 10.02 - Revised to read: An employee wishing to take compensatory time off must have prior approval of the department head, who may use their discretion to grant depending on available staffing and workload, provided that the request is not unreasonably denied by the department head. Compensatory time off may be accumulated, but not in excess of sixty (60) hours at any one time. Compensatorv time may be earned and used during the same period contingent upon the balance not exceedine sixtv (60) hours at the end of each pay period. New Language: An additional twenty (20) hours of compensatory time may be accumulated with these hours to be 0 after the deductible of $250.00. “Out of plan” will be covered 70%, to a maximum out- of-pocket cost of $2,500. All Tier 1 - generic drugs will have a $5.00 co-pay, Tier I1 will have a $10.00 eo-pay, and Tier 111 category (named on specific list) will result in a minimum of $25 drug co-pay depending on cost of drug. There is a $50.00 copay for each emergency room visit. Vision rider ends at the end of the year 2002. This policy would go into effect on May 1”. City will provide a Section 125 Plan. PAY INCREASE: 3% for 2002 and 3% for 2003. 0
