RESOLUTION #39-2002
0 APPROVE NEW AND REVISED POSITIONS
WHEREAS, Resolution #247-2001 and Resolution #1-2002 were adopted by the
Common Council approving new and revised positions for 2002; and
WHEREAS, The Police Chief has requested positions within his department be created
or revised as follows:
MUSKEG0 POLICE DEPARTMENT
Change title of Sergeant position to Staff Sergeant-Patrol
Job duties will remain the same.
Create new position of Sergeant- Patrol
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed job descriptions for the above and
has recommended approval: and
WHEREAS, The wages for both positions will be determined through negotiations with
the Muskego Police Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
the new and revised positions for 2002 as described above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That current employees will be promoted to the new
positions of Sergeant-Patrol and will not require the hiring of any additional employees.
