APPROVAL OF PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
TELECOMMUNICATION ACCESS SHARED SERVICE AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the attached Public
Library Board Telecommunication Access Shared Service Agreement to allow the City
to share the Library's reduced rate T-1 line between the Library and the Waukesha
County Courthouse.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Service
Agreement in the name of the City.

At last night’s meeting, the Library Board signed the agreement required by the
TEACH Board for the city to share the Ijbrary’s reduced-rate T-1 line. I am
attaching a copy of the agreement for your information and action.
Mellanie Mercier, WCFLS Automation Consultant, has just received the capability
to monitor an individual library’s use of the T-1 line, and informs me we are well
below bandwidth capacity, so the addition of the city‘s limited use (i.e. from the
Assessor‘s office to the county) should pose no problems, even at peak load
times.
