DETERMINATION OF COMPENSATION
FOR PERSONNEL CALLED TO ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY
OF THE RESERVE
WHEREAS, An employee of the City was called to active military duty of The Reserve;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the issue of total compensation
regarding this specific case and has recommended that the City make up the
differential between total City compensation and total military compensation for a period
of time ending September 30, 2002 subject to this action not being declared unlawful;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance committee will review this situation in September of 2002 if
the employee is still on active duty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance committee, does hereby determine
to make up the differential between total City compensation and total military
compensation for a period of time ending September 30, 2002 for this particular case
subject to this action not being declared unlawful.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That each future case will be reviewed by the City on an
individual basis.
