AWARD OF BID
Outdoor Siren Warning System
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the Outdoor Siren Warning System and the
following bids were received:
Base Bid
American Signal Corp. $140,808.00
Federal Signal Corp. $177,705.00
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee and Police Chief Johnson have reviewed the bids and
recommend that the low bid submitted by American Signal Corp. in the amount of $140,808.00
be accepted for the Outdoor Siren Warning System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the low bid of
American Signal Corp. in the amount of $140.808.00 for the Outdoor Siren Warning System-
and does hereby include an additional siren at a cost of $12,776 with the total cost of the
project to be $153,584 for 11 sirens.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further authorized to sign any
changes at their discretion.
