RECOGNITION OF 29 YEARS OF SERVICE
JEROME W. SCHMELING - CITY OF MUSKEG0 POLICE DEPARTMENT
If WHEREAS, JEROME W. SCHMELING, began working as a patrol officer for the City c
Muskego Police Department on December 6, 1971, and
WHEREAS, on April 21, 1972, OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING graduated from the
Waukesha County Police Recruit Academy at Waukesha County Technical Institute; and
WHEREAS, OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING attended Milwaukee Area Technical
College for Police Science; and
WHEREAS, OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING served in the United States Army
National Guard as a Military Police Officer; and
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego Police Department has received numerous letters of
appreciation for OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING’S ability to calm people in tragic and
stressful situations; and
WHEREAS, OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING throughout his career frequently served
as the Officer-In-Charge of the shift and performed those duties commendably; and
WHEREAS, OFFICER JEROME SCHMELING has been a dedicated, hard working, and
important asset to the City of Muskego Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby recognize and appreciate the 29 years of service JEROME W.
SCHMELING has provided to the City of Muskego, and wishes him a happy and healthy
retirement.
