RESOLUTION #253-2000
HONORING CITY OF MUSKEG0 EAGLE SCOUT
STEVEN RABE
WHEREAS, STEVEN RABE, resident of the City of Muskego and member of the Boy
Scouts of America Troop 530, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, This achievement came about as a result of years of service and
dedication to the Code of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, STEVEN earned many merit badges including Citizenship in the
Community, First Aid, and Communications; and
WHEREAS, STEVEN served in many leadership positions including Assistant Senior
Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Troop Guide; he continues to work with Troop 530 as
an Assistant Scoutmaster; and
WHEREAS, STEVEN spent many hours working on his Eagle Scout service project
coordinating a landscaping plan for the Hales Corners Public Library which included the
removal of debris and overgrown shrubbery, the creation of flower beds, the installation
of edging, spreading of topsoil, and laying of sod around the beds; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to recognize the
achievements of STEVEN RABE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commend STEVEN RABE for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout
and acknowledges and applauds the efforts required to reach scouting's highest honor,
DATED THIS 12TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2000.
