RECOGNITION OF 25 YEARS OF SERVICE
JEAN K. MARENDA
WHEREAS, JEAN K. MARENDA began her employment with the City on October 28,
1975 in the Building Inspection Department and on May 30, 1977 she became the
Secretary to the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, On June 1, 1983 JEAN was appointed to the position of Deputy City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, In 1988 JEAN MARENDA was elected as City Clerk-Comptroller and
continued to successfully run for that office until she was elected as City Clerk-
Treasurer in 1996; and
WHEREAS, JEAN achieved the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk on July 13,
1990 and continues to pursue educational opportunities to enhance her job
performance; and
WHEREAS, JEAN was appointed to the Office of City Clerk-Treasurer on May 1. 1998
and fulfilled the Wisconsin Municipal Treasurer's Completion Course in July of 1998 at
the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay; and
WHEREAS, JEAN is also a member of the Muskego Woman's Club and has
volunteered her services to the community in many areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby recognize and appreciate the 25 years of dedicated and
professional service provided by JEAN K. MARENDA to the City of Muskego and its
residents.

WHEREAS, JEAN K. MARENDA started working as the Pian Commission Secretary for
the City of Muskego on October 28, 1975; and
WHEREAS, On June 1. 1983 JEAN was appointed to the position of Deputy City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, In 1988 JEAN MARENDA was elected as City Clerk-Comptroller and
continued to successfully run for that office until her appointment; and
