RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH FEES
(Geographic Information System-GIs)
WHEREAS, The Geographic Information System Policies and Procedures approved by
the Finance Committee on June 7, 2000, provides that applicable fees for available
information shall be established by the Common Council from time to time; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval of the following fees:
Public Applications
Public applications include street maps, voter registration maps, existing land use maps,
proposed land use maps, and other similar GIS applications which are defined as public
records, and which are readily available in plot file. Public applications may be made
available in paper, diskette, or CD ROM formats.
11" x 17" paper $1 50
24 x 36" paper $3.00
3.5 diskette $1 .oo
CD ROM $1.25
Custom Applications
Custom applications include information in hard copy or digital format which the City has
the ability to create, but which is not required for the normal operation and conduct of City
government. Custom applications may be made available in paper, diskette, or CD ROM
formats. Availability of custom products is outlined in the City of Muskego GIS Policies and
Procedures guide. Fees for custom products are determined based upon actual time and
materials as follows:
Materials: Paper copy: $1.50 per lineal foot or fraction thereof
3.5' diskette $1 .Do
CD ROM $1.25
$21.49 per hour, billed in minimum increments of X hour at $5.37 Time':
1 Time charges are to be updated administratively upon any change in salary or benefits of the City's
designated GIS Coordinator,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby establish
the fees listed above for Requests for Available Information in accordance with the
Geographic Information System (GIS) Policies and Procedures.
