AWARD OF BID
City Hall Asbestos Abatement Project
WHEREAS, The City advertised for bids for the City Hall Asbestos Abatement project and the
following bids were received:

PARSS $41,032.00 $ 7,899.00
P& J Environmental Inc. $47,200.00 $ 1,500.00
Anser Environmental $29,157.00 $ 0
Robinson Brothers Environmental $53,828.25 $ 2,500.00
Balestrieri Environmental $20.860.00 $ 0
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee and City Engineer have reviewed the bids and
recommend that the low bid submitted by Balestrieri in the amount of $20,860 be accepted for
the City Hall Asbestos Abatement project contingent upon, if within the Mayor‘s judgment, said
contract can be coordinated with the other City Hall remodeling contract and the contract is in
acceptable form; said amount is based on bid unit prices and estimated quantities and the final
contract price may vary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the low bid of
Balestrieri Environmental in the amount of $20,860 for the City Hall Asbestos Abatement
project and acknowledges that the final contract price may vary contingent upon, if within the
Mayor’s judgment, said contract can be coordinated with the other City Hall remodeling
contract and the contract is in acceptable form.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further authorized to sign any
changes at their discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineer
