RESOLUTION #66-2000
APPROVAL OF CONTINUATION OF POLICE LIAISON OFFICER PROGRAM
WHEREAS, A 66.30 Cooperative Contract between the City of Muskego and the
Muskego-Norway School District to Share the Services of Police Liaison Officers for the
1999-2000 year was approved by the Common Council; and
WHEREAS, The Contract calls for both parties to indicate their interest to continue the
contract beyond June 30, 2000 by informing the other party no later than April 1, 2000;
and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee does hereby approve
the continuation of the Police Liaison Officer Program beyond the June 30, 2000 date
subject to updated figures for salary and benefit increases being agreed upon and
approved in the budget process.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That one of the Liaison Officers would be utilized for
increased water patrol as well as other duties during the non-school season.
