RESOLUTION #54-2000
RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH FEE FOR
RETURN OF NON-SUFFICIENT FUND CHECKS
WHEREAS, at the present time the City's policy to charge for checks that are returned
as a result of non-sufficient funds is to charge $20.00; and
WHEREAS, the fee the City incurs for non-sufficient fund checks will increase to $27.50
on April 1,2000; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the City pass on to the
individual the fee that the City incurs for the return of non-sufficient fund checks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby determine
that the fee incurred by the City for the return of all non-sufficient fund (NSF) checks will
be passed on to the individuals effective April 1,2000.
