RESOLUTION #43-2000
AMENDMENT TO PARK AND OPEN SPACE PLAN
WHEREAS, A petition was received from the developer of Rosewood Estates to amend
the Park and Open Space Plan to remove a proposed park site from the Plan (identified
as Park Site B on page 35) and the Common Council, upon recommendation of the
Parks and Recreation Board and Plan Commission, denied the petition in Resolution
#97-99 on May 25, 1999; and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Board on December 13,1999 and the Finance
Committee on February 2,2000, have recommended that the City not purchase
property for park purposes in this area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council, upon the
recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Board and the Finance Committee, does
hereby amend the Park and Open Space Plan to remove Park Site B on page 35 of the
Park and Open Space Plan.
