RESOLUTION REQUIRING A SPRING PRIMARY ELECTION
WHEREAS, 38.1 1, Wis. Stats., states that a primary may be held in any city for the
nomination of candidates for city office. When a majority of all the members of the
governing body of a city decide upon a spring primary for any specific election, they
shall so provide not later than 3. days after the deadline for filing nomination papers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby direct the City Clerk-Treasurer to conduct a primary election in
the City of Muskego on February 15, 2000, if three (3) or more candidates have filed
nomination papers for the position of Municipal Judge, Alderman District 1, Alderman
District 3 andlor Alderman District 5.
