RESOLUTION AS TO APPEAL REGARDING
COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN
FOR NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES
(Police Administrative Assistant)
WHEREAS, The Police Chief submitted a request for a re-evaluation of the points
assigned to the Police Administrative Assistant, a nonrepresented position covered by
the Pay Plan Proposal adopted by the Common Council on July 28, 1998; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee reviewed the re-evaluation of the points assigned
to the position, as recommended by Bart Gethmann of Commonwealth Personnel
Management Services, and recommends the position of Police Administrative Assistant
be classified in the G6 pay range with 286 points as follows: KN 163, A/R 70, PR 53
and ENV 0.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby
support the recommendation of Bart Gethmann and approve appeal upgrading position
of Police Administrative Assistant from 233 points to 286 points and pay range from G5
to G6.
