RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EHLERS AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
TO SOLICIT COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS FOR NOT TO EXCEED
$2,600,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION PROMISSORY NOTES
OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, Section 67 12(12), Wis. Stats., authorizes the City of Muskego to issue General
Obligation Promissory Notes; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to finance the construction of road improvements and City Hall
remodeling, the purchase of equipment and the refunding of the 2001 and 2002 maturities of the
$1,765,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes dated March 1. 1995; and
WHEREAS, Ehlers and Associates, Inc. is the financial advisor for the City of Muskego;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Muskego, Waukesha
County, Wisconsin, that Ehlers and Associates, Inc. be authorized to solicit competitive proposals for
the purchase of not to exceed $2,600,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes of the City of
Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Ehlers 8 Associates is authorized to prepare an Official 0 Statement in behalf of the issuer in accordance with SEC Rule 15~2-12 and to publish a notice of
sale.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Alderperson Salentine
and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof:
Slocomb, Chiaverotti, Le Doux. Patterson, Pionek, Salentine, Sanders
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
