RESOLUTION TO COMMIT FINANCING FOR
AUTOMATED PUBLIC WORKS MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, It is the City's desire to initiate implementation of the Automated Public
Works Management Information System (APWMIS) this year; and
WHEREAS, The City Engineers, Ruekert & Mielke, will perform the implementation
services: and
WHEREAS, The anticipated cost of the project is $269,600 based on a time and
material bid; and
WHEREAS, In order for this project to proceed the Common Council of the City of
Muskego must commit to budget and approve the necessary funds in the 2000 Capital
Budget which will allow Ruekert & Mielke to begin the work this year
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby commit to budget and approve funding in the 2000 Capital
Budget in the amount of $269,600 to implement the Automated Public Works
Management Information System in the year 2000, with the understanding that Ruekert & Mielke will not bill the City for services rendered in 1999 until January, 2000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the adoption of this Resolution hereby directs and
authorizes Ruekert & Mielke to begin work on the project now.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are authorized to
sign the necessary documentation in the name of the City.
